On where AI doesn't belong
The duct tape test: when the whole point is for a human to do it.

The duct tape test
A use case is duct tape when the entire intention of something is for a human to do the action.
For example, the common one is art. Obviously it's very controversial, but the reason why people are so anti-AI art, and not as opposed to AI in general, is because art was intended as a human expression medium. Some may argue that yes, prompting AI is a way to convey expression, but I don't believe that to be true.
Why image generation isn't the problem
That doesn't mean image generation as an AI concept is bad. There's a lot of interesting use cases in world models and video prediction that are really, really useful, but there are nuances there. The reason why one of them is good and one of them is not good is because one of them exists because of humans and requires a human for it to be valuable.
A text is not valuable if you are trying to reach the person directly and instead you get an automated response, even if the automated response is personalized to the person.
